Health & Fitness for Busy People
It is said life is not just a bed of roses. It’s not uncommon one finds thorns in one’s life journey. As an adult investing time in ourselves for our healthy may not be an easy task. Regardless of whether it’s a 9-to-6 job, a night-shift or a stay-at-home job; there’s no excuse that can be prioritised nor compensated for your health.
No matter how busy our schedule is, there are always some small tips one can follow.
1) Good sleep
It’s no doubt that sleep affects our daily work capacity, our thinking intellect, etc. One should sleep between 5-7 hours a day to be in a good state of mind.
2) Bodily in-take
Having a busy lifestyle can lead you to compromise on your eating & drinking habits. Have a heavy breakfast, moderate lunch & a meagre dinner. Do not rest immediately after consumption. Bring nutrition to your diet. Eat fruits & vegetables.
3) Work habits
Being busy at work doesn’t mean we can’t do our bit to take care of ourselves. Do not remain seated for more than 30 minutes at a time. Regularly take walks in-and-around your workplace.
Being fit doesn’t necessarily mean just physical. One’s mental & emotional state also affects our body. So, have a positive outlook in life, do not stress & ask help from others. Remember, you cannot survive alone.
